BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (Sept. 23, 2026) – Jack’s Family Restaurants (Jack’s) will celebrate the life and legacy of Dolly Parton this Friday, Sept. 25, in recognition of the Dollywood Foundation’s inaugural Give Like Dolly Day, honoring her lifelong commitment to literacy and community.
In honor of Dolly Day, the Jack’s Family Fund will donate 10% of all milkshake sales from Sept. 25 directly to Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library, supporting the childhood literacy mission she championed for decades. Guests can enjoy two small milkshakes for just $5 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at all Jack’s restaurants, available in-store and online. The 9 to 5 window serves as a nod to one of Parton’s most recognizable works while giving guests an opportunity to celebrate her legacy through something even more enduring: giving back.

Founded by Parton in 1995, Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library provides free, high-quality books to children from birth to age 5, regardless of family income. The program began in Parton’s home county in East Tennessee and has since grown to serve children around the world.
