1. Information Collected. Jack’s Family Restaurants, LP (“Jack’s” or “we”) collects both personal and non-personal identifying information about you either directly from you or automatically when you use the Jack’s Online Services from a variety of sources.

For example, when you use the Jack’s website, Jack’s collects non-personal information of the sort that web browsers and servers typically make available, such as the browser type, language preference, referring site, and the date and time of each visitor request. Jack’s purpose in collecting non-personally identifying information is to better understand how Jack’s visitors use its website. From time to time, Jack’s may release non-personally-identifying information in the aggregate, e.g., by publishing a report on trends in the usage of its website.

Jack’s also collects potentially personally-identifying information like Internet Protocol (IP) addresses for logged in users and for users leaving comments on our website. Jack’s only discloses logged in user and commenter IP addresses under the same circumstances that it uses and discloses personally-identifying information as described below.

Additionally, Jack’s collects information when you access or use any of the Jack’s Online Services on any device, order or purchase products or services, communicate with us, sign up for communications, create an account, request information, register for any programs or events, apply for employment, or otherwise interact with us and Jack’s Online Services. In each case, Jack’s collects such information only insofar as is necessary or appropriate to fulfill the purpose of the visitor’s interaction with Jack’s. Jack’s does not disclose personal information other than as described below, and visitors can always refuse to supply personal information, with the caveat that it may prevent them from engaging in certain website-related activities.
