The 173rd Alabama location features new digital 2.0 design for quicker service
ATHENS, AL (August 31, 2023) — The Athens location of Jack’s Family Restaurants (Jack’s) officially opens its doors to the public Tuesday, September 5, at 5:00 a.m. The first 50 customers in line will receive free breakfast for a month.
This is the newest restaurant for the Southern Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) brand, which is headquartered in Birmingham and features more than 240 locations across Alabama, Tennessee, Georgia, and Mississippi.
The newest Jack’s location on 15959 Lucas Ferry Rd. incorporates the brand’s new digital 2.0 design, allowing for quicker guest service through its double drive-thru feature.
“We’re excited to open a new location in Alabama and serve delicious breakfast, lunch and dinner menu items,” said Jack’s Family Restaurants CEO Todd Bartmess. “We look forward to bringing quality, handmade food to Athens and surrounding communities and encourage everyone to come out today to experience the newest Jack’s location in our home state.”

Along with free breakfast for a month for the first 50 customers, the grand opening is highlighted by a Jack’s customer favorite that’s perfect for the whole family: Mushroom & Swiss Burger, a two all-beef patty burger topped with grilled mushrooms and onions, melted Swiss cheese and savory gravy. The Jack’s app will house various online exclusives, prizes and West Athens-specific promotions for the next 12 weeks.
