Jack’s Serves Up $1 Cheeseburgers for National Cheeseburger Day

One day only, guests can enjoy a $1 cheeseburger with a $5 purchase at any Jack’s location

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (Sept. 16, 2026) – National Cheeseburger Day calls for a classic, and Jack’s Family Restaurants (Jack’s) is making it easy to celebrate with $1 cheeseburgers after 2 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 18.

For one day only, guests can add a Jack’s cheeseburger to any purchase of $5 or more for just $1 after 2 p.m. at all Jack’s locations. Made with a seasoned all beef patty, melty American cheese, pickles, onions and Jack’s signature secret sauce, the cheeseburger is a longtime menu favorite. Guests can stop by their local Jack’s or swing through the drive thru to take advantage of the offer.

Jack’s connection to the cheeseburger goes back more than 65 years. The brand first opened as Jack’s Hamburgers in Homewood, Alabama, in 1960, and burgers have remained a menu staple through generations of ballgames, road trips, family dinners and everyday stops at the neighborhood restaurant.

“National Cheeseburger Day gives us a chance to celebrate one of the menu items that started it all for Jack’s and share that classic with our guests at a great value,” said Billie Jo Waara, chief marketing officer at Jack’s Family Restaurants.

The $1 cheeseburger offer is available after 2 p.m. Friday, Sept. 18, with a minimum $5 purchase. Guests may purchase up to five $1 cheeseburgers. The offer is available in-store and through the drive thru at all Jack’s locations and is not available through online ordering or third-party delivery.
