Jack’s Kicks Off National Biscuit Month With $1 Sausage Biscuits
BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (Aug. 27, 2026) – Jack’s Family Restaurants (Jack’s) is kicking off National Biscuit Month by celebrating the biscuit makers behind its scratch made biscuits. To mark the occasion, guests can enjoy a $1 Sausage Biscuit at any Jack’s location on Tuesday, Sept. 1, from opening until 10 a.m.
At the heart of National Biscuit Month is a craft Jack’s has practiced since its early days: making biscuits by hand in every restaurant. Long before the first guests arrive, Jack’s biscuit makers are already at work, mixing, rolling, cutting and baking each batch fresh. It is a technique that takes skill, consistency and plenty of practice, and one Jack’s puts to the test each year with its annual Biscuit Bake Off, where biscuit makers across the company compete to see who can make the best biscuits. The competition highlights the precision behind a process guests may only glimpse through Jack’s biscuit viewing windows each morning.
“National Biscuit Month gives us an opportunity to celebrate what makes our biscuits special, and that starts with the people who make them,” said Dana Taylor, CEO of Jack’s. “Our biscuit makers take pride in carrying on a tradition that has been part of Jack’s for generations. We’re proud to recognize their work and give our guests an easy way to join the celebration with a fresh Sausage Biscuit for just $1 this Tuesday.”
Jack’s biscuits are a cornerstone of its breakfast menu and an important part of its identity as the Official Biscuit of the South.
Guests can celebrate the people behind the biscuits with a $1 Sausage Biscuit at any Jack’s location from opening until 10 a.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 1. Guests can order in-store, online or through Jack’s All About Rewards app, with a limit of five per order. While they’re there, Jack’s encourages guests to take a moment to thank the biscuit maker behind their morning biscuit.
