Jack’s Brings Back $1 Hamburgers for a One-Day Summer Sendoff
BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (Aug. 20, 2026) – On Tuesday, Aug. 25, Jack’s Family Restaurants (Jack’s) will bring back $1 Hamburger Day, giving guests the chance to enjoy a classic for just $1 from 2 p.m. until close.
Jack’s Hamburger features a seasoned all beef patty topped with onions, pickles and signature secret sauce. Founded in Birmingham in 1960 as Jack’s Hamburgers, the Southeastern quick service restaurant has been serving its take on the classic hamburger for more than six decades. Guests can order $1 Hamburgers in-store, online or through Jack’s All About Rewards app on Aug. 25. Each guest may purchase up to five burgers.
As families shift from summer road trips and late nights to school schedules and packed calendars, Jack’s is keeping one thing simple: getting a satisfying burger does not have to break the bank.
“As prices rise at the pump and summer schedules give way to busy back to school routines, we wanted to give our guests a reason to slow down and enjoy a Jack’s classic at a classic price,” said Billie Jo Waara, Chief Marketing Officer at Jack’s. “We invite everyone to gather with family and friends to enjoy the classic flavors of a summer cookout before the season comes to a close.”
Jack’s $1 Hamburgers are available at all Jack’s locations, excluding its new location on Austin Peay Highway in Memphis, Tennessee.
