Jack’s Family Restaurants Seeks Out Local Grandparents to Be the New Faces of Their Brand

Southern staple, Jack’s Family Restaurants, is searching for the new faces of their latest campaign – and it could be your grandma. To bring a fresh approach to a community contest, they’re hosting their first Jack’s Granfluencers Contest, asking locals to submit photos of their grandparents and add why they should be a Jack’s Granfluencer – grandparent influencer.

Since opening their first location in Homewood, Alabama in 1960, Jack’s has served communities throughout Alabama, Tennessee, Mississippi and Georgia at their more than 180 locations.

With this contest, Jack’s is searching for tried and true Southern men and women who have been eating at Jack’s for decades to be their ultimate Granfluencers.

During the month of August, Jack’s fans can submit a grandparent (or grandparents) in their life for a chance to win. 10 Granfluencers and their nominators will receive free Jack’s for a year and a custom swag pack. Of those 10, Jack’s will crown one grand prize winner as the ultimate Granfluencer – giving them the opportunity to be featured in a Jack’s advertisement. Winners will be announced on National Grandparents Day, September 13th.

“We are proud to be honoring and giving recognition to our long-time customers in our search for a new generation of influencers,” says Jack’s CEO, Todd Bartmess. “We take pride in the family values instilled in our loyal fans and are looking forward to finding customers who can represent our Southern roots, charm and flavor.”

To support the search, Jack’s is partnering with a handful of local Alabama social influencers to nominate and highlight their own grandparents or those of their children on their social channels. One influencer partner, Cullen, is a Birmingham resident and co-creator of popular Cullen & Katie YouTube channel who will be highlighting his mom, Berry (affectionately called “GrandBerry” by her grandchildren and on social media).

“We grew up going to Jack’s, so it has always been one of my favorites,” said Cullen. “GrandBerry is the epitome of a sweet Southern grandmother and would be a great representative of Jack’s values. I’m excited to encourage my followers to enter their own grandparents and to see who wins!”

To enter, Jack’s fans can post a photo and/or video of their grandparent nominee on Instagram tagging @eatatjacks and #JacksGranfluencers with a caption that includes why they should be a Jack’s Granfluencer. They can also visit jacksgranfluencers.com/enter where they can submit photos and/or videos of their entrant and answer the question: “Why should they be Jack’s ultimate Granfluencer?”

The contest is open to current residents of Alabama, Tennessee, Mississippi and Georgia. For more information on the Terms & Conditions and how to enter the contest, please visit jacksgranfluencers.com/enter.
