BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – Join Jack’s for 14 nights of trick-or-treating, rides and games at the Birmingham Zoo’s annual “spook-tacular” event, Boo at the Zoo.
Every weekend in October and on Halloween night, families are encouraged to visit the Zoo dressed in family-friendly costumes to explore haunted attractions such as the Scarousel carousel ride, Ghoul School, Eerie Express train ride, Glow in the Dark Dot Maze, Gruesome Golf, “Monster Mash” Dance Party and more.
“We look forward being part of Boo at the Zoo every year,” said Jack’s Director of Marketing Pam Measel. “It’s a fun, safe way to bring families together for candy and fun. As a family company, we enjoy the opportunity to be a part of such an exciting event.”
Families may stop by the Jack’s table for prizes, candy and coupons Oct. 19-21. Jack’s will be located in the trick-or-treat candy area near the train station Oct. 19-21.
The Birmingham Zoo Vice President of Marketing and Media Katrina Cade sincerely thanked Jack’s for their support of not only Boo at the Zoo, but the Zoo overall.
“The reason we are able to do what we do for children and their families is because of the sponsorship support we have received over the years from Jack’s,” said Cade. “We hope to continue to partner with them for years to come.”
Boo at the Zoo dates and hours include: 5-9 p.m. Oct. 5–7, 12–14, 21, 25, 28 and 31, and 5-10 p.m. Oct. 19, 20, 26, 27. The Zoo animal exhibits will close at 4 p.m. each day of Boo at the Zoo. Still, some animals will be present each night inside the Children’s Zoo Barn.
Admission is $8. Some attractions, however, require ride tickets. An unlimited attraction wristband is available for $12.
