Jam with Jack's at Rock the South

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – Jack’s announces its support of Rock the South 2013, which will be held June 21-22 at Heritage Park in Cullman, Ala. The event, known for featuring some of country music’s top artists, commemorates the day the south was “rocked” by tornadoes in April, 2011.

“We are proud to be a part of this event for so many reasons,” said Jack’s Director of Marketing Pam Measel. “We are, of course, excited to join our customers in listening to great music, but we also want to show the families of those affected by the tornadoes that they are not alone. Thousands were affected that day, and as this festival suggests, we’re humbled to join others in celebrating their recovery and our commitment to one another.”

Over the two-day period, bands such as Sara Evans, The Band Perry, Hank Williams Jr., Gregg Allman, Scotty McCreery and Jamey Johnson will take the stage.

To beat the heat, festival-goers may cool down in the Jack’s Chill Zone, a misting tent designed to provide relief in large summer crowds. While there, individuals may spin the Jack’s Prize Wheel to win prizes like water bottles, T-shirts, key chains, free milkshakes, free Big Jack sandwiches, free biscuits, koozies and more.

Leading up to the event, Jack’s gave away passes to the family event.

“We give away prizes and tickets to family events as often as possible through social media,” said Measel. “Our contests are always fun and easy, and by participating, you can win passes to some of the best events around.”

Co-Owner of Premier Productions Shane Quick said events like Rock the South wouldn’t be possible without companies like Jack’s.

“[Jack’s] determination for excellence and passion to reach people from big cities to small towns is one that Rock the South strives to mirror,” said Quick. “We look forward to working together for many years to come.”
