ADAMSVILLE AND JACK’S™ GROWING TOGETHER JACK’S™ RE-OPENS NEW LOCATION TODAY

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – Jack’s is proud to announce the grand re- opening its Adamsville location. The restaurant, located at 5701 Adamsville Parkway since October 1989, is officially scheduled to open at 5 a.m. Wed., Nov. 14 at 5707 Veterans Memorial Drive. Jack’s will host a cake cutting ceremony open to the public this Thurs., Nov. 15 at 1 p.m. at the new location.

“We are looking forward to the upgrade,” said Jack’s Area Manager Diane Roden. “Our customers are excited, too. Some have been coming since the store opened more than 20 years ago. They’ve seen new Jack’s around Birmingham, but this is their Jack’s, and they’re looking forward to moving into their new home. This Jack’s is built for them.”

Unlike most fast food restaurants, the Adamsville Jack’s opens its doors during the work week at 4 a.m. Roden said the store opens an hour early Monday through Friday to take care of the customers who have to go to work early.

“A year ago, many customers told us that it would really help them if we could open up about 15 minutes early, so we started opening up around 4:45 a.m.,” said Roden. “Many of our customers have to be in Birmingham at five or six in the morning though, so we now open at 4 a.m. to take care of our customers a little better.”

Jack’s Director of Marketing Pam Measel said the re-opening will be a bit like a reunion.

“We are a family and community‐oriented fast food chain,” said Measel. “We are excited about seeing our customers every day and becoming a part of the family atmosphere in Adamsville once again.”

Outside of the store, Jack’s serves the community by working with local schools and churches through food donations and support.

Jack’s new location features a new facility with more seating and updated décor. The restaurant can seat up to 85 people and is handicap accessible. Hours of operation for the store will be Mon. through Thurs. 4 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Fri. and Sat. 4 a.m. to 10 p.m. The store will open at 6 a.m. and close at 9 p.m. on Sundays.

Jack’s features a wide range of menu items which include its signature sandwich: the “BIG JACK”, fried chicken, hamburgers, salads, delicious milkshakes and the award‐winning, made from scratch, buttermilk biscuits on the breakfast menu.
