Cool Down with Jack's at Gadsden Riverfest

Published May 19, 2013

Jack’s announces its support of Gadsden Riverfest May 31 - June 1. Beginning Mon., May 27, Jack’s will give away a pair of tickets every day at Facebook.com/EatAtJacks. The two-day musical event is expected to draw crowds exceeding 30,000 from across the state.

Seven Jack’s locations serve guests throughout Etowah County who plan to attend Riverfest. Jack’s Area Manager Sherry Clough said employees from every store are looking forward to the event, as well.

“Our folks really enjoy this every year,” said Clough. “The community knows us, and everybody who comes up has a Jack’s story to share. We enjoy hearing their stories and being able to socialize with our customers outside of the store on a more leisurely basis.”

Clough encourages all of her customers to stop by the Jack’s tent to experience the new Jack’s Chill Zone, a misting tent designed to provide relief in hot temperatures.

“It’s amazing how big this event has become, and with a major event comes major crowds,” said Jack’s Director of Marketing Pam Measel. “All weekend long, the Jack’s Chill Zone will be a place for families to come cool off and take a break.”

Festival goers may also spin the Jack’s Prize Wheel to win prizes that could include water bottles, T-shirts, key chains, free milkshakes, free Big Jack sandwiches, free biscuits, koozies and more.

This year’s lineup includes Kenny Rogers, Corey Smith, Kate Falcon, and Jeremy Jackson among others. Weekend Passes are available for pre-purchase. Only single-day passes will be available at gates.
